I was walking through the red light district of Amsterdam in May 2000, and rushed to take this picture. They don't like you taking pictures there. I practically got chased off the street. You can't see the prostitute's face, but can't you tell what she's thinking? Also, there's a mysterious person in a leather coat behind the tree.

Funny, when I was there last fall I took a picture from about exactly the same spot, but facing in the opposite direction... no one minded.
I guess the neon elephant's enforcer was out sick that day.
