Internal Electrical Routing - Test Run.

Internal Electrical Routing - Test Run.

- Procure shift cable. Cut and fray shift cable, to obtain a single wire.
- Fold hook at the end of the wire. Tie dental floss to the leading end of the wire.
- Push wire inside the fork and up the leg.
- Use a shop vac to suck the floss out of the far side hole. More likely, the floss will be sucked up to the hole, but not through it. In which case, use another cable, with a v-bend on the tip, to fish out the floss.
- Connect the electrical cable to the wire and pull through.

This was a test run, I pulled through the full shift cable. Success. It took a couple hours. I removed the cable to have the fork painted, then will repeat for real.
