The intact El Camino is a 1974, and the one on top of it is too. The front end sitting on the ground is a 1973, and almost looks like a SS model...The paint job on these is shiny still, for sitting in a field for however long.

It looks like a classic case of automultiplicity. The poor old car is trying to reproduce itself before it rusts away completely...just hasn't got it quite right yet.

Great photo. Amazing that he was able to find two more RED front clips, considering how brown seems to have been most popular at that time.
