Connecting Eastside no. 4c:Corn or Clockwork Orange?

Connecting Eastside no. 4c:Corn or Clockwork Orange?

Happen to “randomly find” these images of the Great Corn Warehouse, Eastside, Nottingham.
(Whoever took these) found the place still in ruin and is apparently home to druggies and the homeless. From this view, the modern Jurys Inn hotel can just be made out poking above the end of the building.
In theory, this area remains part of great Eastside masterplan to be regenerated into a modern retail, office and leisure space. We watch, hope and wait.

Connecting Eastside no. 3: Burnt out

Connecting Eastside no. 3: Burnt out

Burnt out remains of rafters from one of market units at Sneinton Market, Nottingham. Been like this for nearly 4 years and with no sign of it being redeveloped. This is the contrast to the recently opened new "square".

Just wished I used a smaller aperture to get the whole thing in focus.... oh well.
