Mini Cooper, John Cooper Works Edition

Latest addition to my portfolio. Shot last week, finished the post work just a few minutes ago. The base of the image is a rig photo. The lit body parts were added on top, using two separate images, one of the side of the car, one of the front end. Lights used were two Vivitar 285's. Check my blog for the build up of the image. The snow is real by the way : P

Dude, this is an incredible shot and I almost couldn't believe it when I saw it on Strobist--I'm bummed I missed it in the pool until now! Everything about this is perfection. If you didn't shoot this for the cover of the MiniCooper catalog, do them a favor and give them a call.

seriously tight shot man. i was gonna use a rig for the firs time last weekend until someone crashed into me and totaled my car on friday. now i have to find another ride to shoot. i was planning on the whole rig/strobist thing as well, so this is great to see and you did a super good job.
