    Shot for PhotoChallenge.org September 2009 Challenge: a month of black-and-whites.

    I've shot this building several times before; it's just across the street from my office, and is the first thing to catch my eye on days with interesting cloud patterns. I really liked the color version of this also; maybe I'll post it tomorrow for comparison.

      Wow, this is an intense BW. The reflections are spot on yet the horizontal lines break it up give a surreal feel. This is excellent!

      I wish I could go wider from this angle, I was backed up against a fence. Could move farther down the sidewalk but then I'm shooting a different side of the building (like this).

      I like the comp and the subject, but the framing seems off to me. It sucks that you're up against a fence for the shot. Maybe bring the right edge in to match the left side?

      Camouflage building. Left and right edge of the building should be centered on the sides of the frame.

      OK, I pulled the original file up and tried cropping to make the edges match. It still sucks. The only choice would be to re-shoot from another spot (or with a wider lens... on my Christmas wish-list).
