The Lizard King

While I was at Venice Beach (Los Angeles), this gentleman was kind enough to pose for a picture provided that I gave him a small donation. He gave me the greatest pose (as you can see), but the problem was a very cluttered background including some guy behind him looking right into the camera. So Photoshop to the rescue! After 4 hours of fine tuning it, I finally got the background blacked out and added a flame. Unfortunately, I was not able to keep his horns without significantly degrading the picture (an earlier version here had the horns but I have since removed them -- see discussion below).
