No, it's his name. I felt perverse when we named him and didn't want the usual cat name. Actually it does suit him, honestly. His own identity issues seem to have been resolved :)

For the runt of the litter Mouse is a mini-tyrant. He cheerfully attacks his much larger brother who in turn sulks and takes it out on the semi-feral who lives with us. Pecking order in action.

I can't really claim responsibility for the veg arrangement. This is exactly how it was delivered. Today's selection came in two placcy carrier bags - not nearly as seductive and appealing an image.
