Credit card of future
Kudelski and Mastercard are showing me the credit card of the future. This model can generate a new passcode on the fly, so if your card's number gets copied it won't be able to generate the right passcode.

But the thief can generate a new pass-code 'on the fly'.
guessing there is a protection for that?
Robert Scoble (27 months ago | reply)
John: yes, but they aren't protecting against just that kind of thief. They are protecting against someone who you hand your card to, like in a restaurant, who goes in the back room, writes down your credit card info and your security code, then goes online later to buy something.

So that passcode is only good for that specific transaction... very smart!

Good idea. It's important to ensure security like this when it comes to the future of credit cards. Mark with credit card debt consolidation
