Robert, I see you there on the ground in the reflection, just below the right tail lights. This is the result of an interface problem between the camera and the operator; The screen could detach from the lens. Click on the "All Sizes" link above to see a close-up below the right tail light (I left a note but notes kinda muddy up the pictures sometimes). While it can be fun to take pictures like that on a beach, on a patch of oil and a bag of trash, not so much.

ckelly: every photo has EXIF data that shows everything about what stuff I used. Look over to the right of the photo. It's a 50 mm F1.4 Canon EOS lens.
