origami lights III

As the inaugural project for our newly founded club, the Righteous Legion of SCM (that's Santa Cruz Mountains, baby!) Craftistas, we made these most awesome origami lights. I was the only one who remembered to get Christmas lights, but Karen brought actual origami paper (hmm, why didn't I think of that) as well as some really pretty scrap booking paper, Maren brought beautiful wrapping paper to use, and I had regular pastel copy paper, which we didn't use much of because it just didn't compare to the other papers. All in all, we had a great time [hub purposely left right when all my bird friends showed up;)], and the tradition of our craft club seems to be off to a great start!
