Like the secret mountain Koya in Japan, the mountain in the middle is surrounded by 8 mountain ranges...
There is also a belief that Maitreya will come down to the mountain. This is the same belief as Mt Koya...

A quiet temple Murouji, Nara
Murouji is known as "Nyonin Koya (Mt Koya for females) ". Traditionally Mt Koya, sacred mountain for the Shingon school Buddhism in Japan, had been prohibited to women. However, Murouji, which is the same school of buddhism, has always allowed also women to enter.
