Dinosaurs in Their Time

The dinosaur exhibit finally reopened. My girls and I went over Saturday afternoon. It's a huge improvement over the rather cold, sterile feeling of the old hall.

cool shot. i wrote a couple stories about this for the Carnegie museum magazine. it's realistic enough that you can almost see meat on the bones. the guy in charge of all this is only 32 and acts like a little kids when he starts talking about the place. I saw it about 2 months ago when it was still under construction...even then it was a big improvement.

It's an ancestor of a crocodile. Unfortunately though... I did not make note of the names of all of the skeletons on display... I'll go back over and make some notes, and update this pictures accordingly.
