Slight Adjustment

What is this? I love the light eminating from it!

It's just my bedsite table lamp, I took the lampshade off to make the light more direct :)

This was a bit of an out-take from my other 'shoes' picture, I was sorting out the strap, because the shoes are too big, it sometimes slips off my ankle. I think I can see this becoming a series. I quite like this though, did some editing with curve adjustment, although it's my first time playing with curves really, so I think it could be a lot better.
There's some lovely cellulite on my leg :) I'm not proud so I won't photoshop it off, I am getting on to a quarter of a century after all, photo would be unrealistic otherwise, and to be honest, the shadows are actually being kind to my flaws!

You've managed the light well, it's strongly directional, but surprisingly for a bare bulb, not very harsh. Is it on a dimmer, or just a low wattage?

I'm also very impressed by your attitude, as you seem to be happy to be yourself, and that's one of the key parts of being happy with life in general! I only wish more people were. Mind you it's easier to be happy with yourself when you're beautiful and smart ;)

Top shot Sarah, excellent low key work. The lighting is fantastic but the only thing I would change is to have the lamp out of frame and move the composition so the door frame was to the right and out of shot.

Basically I need teachers who I don't have to give tuition fees too :)

I def agree about the door frame, I think I will try adjust the image a bit so that's out the way, I don't really want to do an outright crop as I like the space between the hair and the edge of the image. I kind of like the bulb though, I like the out-takey feel, but I think I will have a go at removing it when I do the door frame, just to see what it looks like.

Ah the pole dancing shoes are back...another great image..and looking mighty fine as usual. The lighting really adds a sense of atmosphere here, although I think blocking it from reaching the door so that the left hand side is all black would have benefited the image more.

fantastic makeup and wardrobe.
i disagree about making the left side darker/black, and about cropping out (or reframing) the door frame on right side -- the bits of door add a nice touch of locale, and they (sorry to use the word again) frame you really well.
and the cellulite... well, it grounds the photo in reality (none of this airbrushed men's mag shtuff).
besides you're way too sexy to have to worry about it.
