Equirectangular

When one photograph makes your head spin
360° horizontally and 180° vertically.
An equirectangular image is a format
used to present a full sphere of view.
Each pixel is like the coordinates on a
map: latitude and longitude. Most of
these images are best seen in the
interactive view (using a plug-in called
Spi-V, needs Shockwave).
