Are there Stars in Your Planet?

Are there Stars in Your Planet? by Seb Przd.
UPDATE 2009/03/18: greetings, visitor! Please make sure to visit my Best Pictures and my stream.

There was almost no light available for this shot, except for two external lightbulbs in this part of Brittany, 20 minutes before midnight in the middle of July. Can you see the stars?
Exposure time was 13 seconds... Stereographic projection of an equirectangular image

These are so much fun!

Thanks you so much for your detailed info in your how-to's. I hope to try it some day when I have the time to experiment.

Anyhow... Bravo!

pisco: yes! 13 seconds exposure is a lot. I've updated the image with the EXIF data.

I'm so glad the flickr blog directed me toward your work....I'm obsessed! Although I'm not great with scripting- (the first links I've found are, well, mystifying in since I don't speak Linux) I'm determined to learn how to make some of these marvelous little planets.

This reminds me of Magritte's 'Empire of Light'.

A mini planet out of that exact concept would be exceptionally fantastic.
I give you a challenge!!

I was just thinking, that would be so sick if you did one at night! And then I came across this and my mind exploded.

jkostrand: I've done a few others, but none as "popular" as this one. Check Le Château de Maupas, La Madeleine, A street. And although not at night, I like this one At Dusk.
