trail route of the Old Savannah . Tybee Railroad Histroric and Senic Multipurpose Trail

trail route of the Old Savannah . Tybee Railroad Histroric and Senic Multipurpose Trail by Bruce Tuten.
This is the site of the original transportation route to Tybee Island from Savannah, a railroad. The train and tracks are gone but the route is still there and has been made into a walking and bike riding trail of twelve miles round trip. I rode half one day on my bike and walked the balanced the next taking the following shots of the wildlife on the trail. It is only and about ten feet across and runs by a channel of the Savannah and Bull Rivers.
