The Counihan Connection - Collateral Damage by Satta van Daal

The Counihan Connection - Collateral Damage

Artrwork from the recent exhibition 'The Counihan Connection' at the Counihan Gallery in Brunswick (in the town hall):

To celebrate the Gallerys 10th Anniversary, eight contemporary artists have been invited to create artworks in response to the life and work of Noel Counihan. New paintings, drawings, prints and installations will be presented along side original Counihan works. The exhibition seeks to honour the contribution that Counihan made to Australian art, while exploring the continuities and ruptures between past and present.

Artists include: Chris Bond, Angela Cavalieri, George Gittoes, William Kelly, Kristin McFarlane, Benjamen McKeown, Georgia Metaxas, Satta van Daal and Noel Counihan.
Curated by Edwina Bartlem.
