A health club!!! I would go to this cinema on a Monday night for £1 in the 1980's, i guess there must be a multiplex somewhere near by now?

There is, and to be fair a very nice one at Staples Corner with a huge car park. Not a single survivor from my past until you get to Muswell Hill for the sole survivor besides the Phoenix in East Finchley which just avoided closure.

I went here to Saturday morning matinees in the 60's.
The more I stop and think about how life was in the 50's and 60's the more disenchanted I feel about how life is today!

As I remember this was The Gaumont, the Odeon was in the Quadrant .?.

Yes, the Odeon was knocked down for the old people's flats. The only local cinema now is Staples Corner then nothing till Muswell Hill and North Finchley. OK, they've got as many films in one as they did in all but not the same.
