Buttercup WIP

Buttercup WIP by sassenach.
Progress on the Buttercup tee. I've separated the sleeves from the body and so far the fit looks ok. I made a mistake early on because I didn't read the errata on the Ravelry project page, so I had to rip back four rows and fix my stitch counts. All is well now and I'm on the body portion before beginning the shaping.

Yarn is Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool in color 57 (Old Lilac) on size US 6 circs. As much as I love Silky Wool, it sure has a lot of twiggy/leafy bits, like Noro yarn. I have to stop every several stitches to pick something out. It's kind of annoying, but I love this color and the yarn drapes very nicely.

Thanks! It is annoying--I didn't expect it with this yarn. I don't think I had this problem when I knit with it before, but that was several years ago!

you are so much further than I am! I am making the next bigger size so I have more stitches, right? :P I really like that color! I don't mind twiggy bits for other things, but I don't think I'd like them for a sweater!

I haven't worked on it much the past couple days because there is sooooo much stockinette ahead! yeah, I am still picking out bits of foliage and what not--but I think that's my only complaint about this yarn :)
