I made a granny square!I think there is something wonkity going on in this general direction, but I'll work on it. did you chain 2/3 or however many you are chaining between the three into the spaces? it's hard to tell from this angle. ahhh good question--I think I did the chain part right, but I might be doing the slip stitch in the wrong...stitch. I think? oh that might be it, I think you want it to go into this stitch to close up your square... then you slip st into the next two until you come to here, where you start over again. I think. hehe. it's hard when I'm not holding it in my hands! which will make another gap here for your next round you just need to show me this in person! hint...hint :D I know! I just found out *someone* is going to VA next weekend for a wedding... hmph! ![]() ![]() On the heels of my round thing, today I learned how to make a granny square! Go me! :D The Stitch 'n Bitch crochet book helped some, but it was really this video on Youtube that made it click for me.

awesome!!! good job! granny squares are great. and you can just keep doing rounds and doing rounds and make a huge one into a blanket, even. I think it is easier to change colors every round - I think when I did an all solid one, it was harder to move to the next round, b/c you have to work your way up to the right spot.
