Caroline, this book came from Tibo's family.
I would love to know where all the old books
from mine (and your) childhood are too! There
is one in particular, Bartholomew and the
Oobleck, that I remember as always being at
Gran's house and I loved it!

big fan of "the Harold"
(christarenee and I need to meet for
coffee...)
loved & love Harold's fearless
adventures, and that he could always
"draw" himself back home when his
invented life became too much...IMO we're all
pretty darn lucky if we have our own
"purple crayon"...
thanks for the images, your blog is
beautiful too!

A classic indeed! Heirloom a treasure! This
small simple book is wonderful! I used to
have older kids paired with Kindergarteners
to read this book and do a shared crayon
drawing, they always were amazing!
