Wishing you a great adventure on your quest for that perfect mountain ville and reconnecting with your true self (funny how easy it is to loose touch sometimes)... but life is always evolving and changing and sometimes even our core self can make some interesting shifts as we age, marry, move and become mothers. But, it always very very important to take care of ourselves and do and be by those things we love. I also have a strong affinity for the mountains, I miss them so. I always feel I am my better self when I am up high in the mountains and surrounded by nature, it calms me. So, good luck! and take many a photo.

M - After I wrote that line about true self, I realized that it sounded to "big" in nature. You are completely right - my true self has many different forms and living here in Paris is just one side of me. But there is something powerful about feeling centered and confident in your self and I think that is a big piece of what is missing for me. Like you, I've always felt my best when I am in living and working in, on, and near mountains. Feels silly to say that - but its true! :)

I guess a more "pure self" is more what I am looking for...
