Starbucks Spider

Starbucks Spider by sdpalladio.
This very large male Huntsman spider (Heteropoda venatoria) was lurching down the side of Starbucks this morning, ending up about a foot away from the window when I pulled up. Everyone in line was gaping at it and pointing. I say to the girl, "Um, you might wanna close that window a minute... there's a HUGE spider out here." She looks, and screams, and runs into the center of her area. Meanwhile, the thing runs all the way to the edge of the window with it still wide open and me going, "UM!!!!". At this point she kind of tosses my drink to me and we shout our goodbyes as I speed away from the Starbucks Spider.

We all deserve a caffeine fix from time to time. Where do ya think bugs get their buzz from? (lol)
