Chilli Plant

One of my Jalapeno Chilli plants, still a long way to go!

Add them in to various recipes whilst cooking, to add an extra kick. Bolognaise, Fajitas, Homemade Burgers, Enchiladas, savoury Rice etc. add them as a Pizza topping. If I get enough this year I'll be getting my Mum to make me a batch of raspberry jam with a few chillis added in. Not pure chilli jam but the spicy sweet kick is nice (tried it at a food show).

We also tend to dry a handful out and then crush them up and make your own dried chilli flakes from it, although they're not as strong as the fresh ones.

Depends on the variety. This will probably grow to a foot high, maybe more. It's double the size now (not bad for a week!). Some grow into a little bush, some are more like a mini tree. I'll post up more photos as it grows and evolves :o)
