my first mussels

Somehow I went thirty years without trying these. See also: french fries with garlic mayo. What is wrong with me.

If you are ever in DC there is this amazing place called Brasserie Beck that has a wonderful mussels with apple curry dish (along with mussels with garlic and butter and another kind that I can't remember) and french fries with three different sauces including garlic mayo. Now I'm hungry. Damn.
