I still can't accept that there are that many pink books out there. Are you sure you're not dying them?

hi drifter! the room is really small (there's only room for the sofa and nothing else), but it doubles as a guest room--the sofa's also a bed.
hi bunchofpants and rakka--i would *love* more pink books, especially if they are read-worthy. let me know if you hear of/see anything!
hi abbyladybug--i'm happy it's finally done..
hi karlcow--not exactly--adobe bookshop's project was considerably more awe-inspiring. if i had a bookshop, it would be like that everyday :)

hi candy! i bought it in manila, it reminded me of the sofa in my grandparents' old house.
hi sugarfreak! i love it, i keep staring at it. maybe i should turn the sofa around :)
hi maomau! the room is so small, so dark, and doesn't have any free wall space, so i knew i had to do something with the books to add any sort of decoration to the room. i used to go for very subdued palettes but i guess i just said sod it. might as well go for broke :)

wa-owww, sugarfreak--that is so cool. if i hadn't already taken out most of my cds from their jewel cases and moved them into binders, i'd probably do this as well. i ended up moving all my black and white spined books to the one shelf facing the sofa, i had a lot less than i thought i did, but i imagine i have a ton of cds with black or white spines.

hello JůVěŊTįŊå--it was fun to do as well.
hi arimoore! i thought it would be, but it's turning out to be surprisingly easy. since i've read the majority of them, i tend to remember the general cover/colour, so that helps. i find i have a much more difficult time looking through the black+white shelves.

Wonderful!! And I have to say...I don't have that many pink books either -unfortunately. Lots of blues and blacks (and even worse..beige). I have wanted to do this for a long time, however, my boyfriend and I are both librarians, and I'm afraid he feels it's not quite the best way to organize books :-(

hi ex-londoner! it was fun to do.
