hi jodi and lightweaver, i'm not good with marinades with chicken and meats-they always smell so delicious, but i can't seem to get the flavours to permeate. do you have any suggestions? i've got a chicken in the fridge (this is more than enough for one chicken), i think i'll keep it there overnight. if you are using this for fish, don't let it sit in the marinade for too long (1 hour for thin fish filets, 2-3 for fish steaks), or it pickles the fish!

emilym, aren't they great? one is a little more turquoise than the other. i love them in combo with the red-orange bowl.

Food pics make me happy, as do ones with
vibrant color- you are making my night on this
insanely cold winter's eve.

Dear Chotda,

I work for Oxford University Press, a non-profit publisher, and am currently procuring images for a manuscript about epilepsy. I was wondering if you would allow us to have rights to publish this photograph for the book?
