oatmeal brulee 3

oatmeal made with water andsteel cut oats, then topped with brown sugar and blowtorched for a crunchy brulee finish. served with blueberries, raspberries, and a little heavy cream. crack open the crust and pour the cool cream into the oats before scooping up some of the burnt sugar and berry.

hi winnie--definitely! any day that starts with blowtorches and berries is bound to be interesting.

hi liyin--for this recipe, you really don't need fresh ones. if you can get tinned or frozen ones, this would be just as nice. i would n't use jam or jelly though, it might be too sweet.
