      We have one come buy our place nearly everyday, I wll have to take a picture iof it. The one around our area isn't by far this nice, it is kind of a wreck.

      i saw one a few weeks back--very snazzy, it was white and yellow striped and had a big "bene bene gelato" logo, with a young guy in front wearing a matching yellow and white uniform. it looked like some sort of sixties/fifties beach movie prop. i haven't seen it again. i'm wondering now if it maybe *was* a prop.

      i don't know why, i guess i'm just glad this truck still comes around everyday, but i look forward to hearing its crazy warped (as in warped vinyl, old cassette) version of "music box dancer"....just the first 12 bars or so.

      I wonder if Frank Mills gets royaties from all of those ice cream trucks? Wouldn't it be cool if the trucks played Jonathan Richman's Ice Cream Man.

      (laughing) i wonder, too. i was just thinking about that car commercial with that jonathan richman song, and the people chasing the ice cream van, but they can never really find it. it's like that with this van sometimes. i can hear the music for blocks, but i'm not exactly sure where he really is.
      maybe klf's "justified and ancient" ? ("they're justified and their ancient/and they drive an ice cream van")
