Bit of a storm on the go today, wah?

Another shot from our time out snowshoeing this afternoon in the woods of Paradise. Cool winter days mean very clear skies and this is no exception. I'd love to have something a little wider than 18mm but that'll come in time. I thought this tree kind of stood out (it was kinda by itself in a clearing). Wanted to get some of the nice sunlight and blue sky in there too...

Went for a walk with my wife today in the woods behind our house in Paradise. There was some great light so I got her to shake a couple tree branches to try and get some nice back lighting on the snow. This one worked out the best (I think). I was hoping for a bit more bokeh, but with my 18-105mm DX it's not always easy to get. Anyways, let me know what you think.

So I wanted to get a decent shot of all my gear (some new, some older) but all I have for a non-SLR is a crappy Canon SD1000 so it's nothing special but here they all are.
