Homage 2 Analog
![]() This is my sound expander that I used when recording from LPs and cassettes. It helped with the noise floor (don't ask me to explain it as I'm not that technical) and often I used the "Impact Restoration" control to add a little "bottom" to my recordings. However, with the advent of CDs and now digital music I haven't used it in years. I'm seriously considering selling it along with my equalizer as they are too nice to sit here and collect dust.
As you can tell I've been having a lot of fun photographing this old stereo equipment. Believe it or not, I actually powered-up everything and spent some time listening to some of my LPs. In the age of the iPod I feel really old. :-( Commentswww.andreakamal.com

Nice pic!
No need to feel old playing you LPs, I find that analog reproduction from LP has a coherence that is missing from all but the finest digital equipment.
If the music sounds good thats all that counts to my way of reckoning...... :o)
