Cool video game costumes. By the way, the first video game I ever had was Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo. I recognize the characters in you picture as being from the Super Mario Bros games for the original Nintendo machine, the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System). I know this because of the fact that none of the Super Nintendo games Mario games (except Super Mario All Stars which was a collection of the Super Mario Bros games) had the character Toad. By the way, did you ever see that live action (played by actors) movie of Super Mario Bros?

Well, I got to the party more than fashionably late and missed some of the scenes earlier. My friends took some pics of silly game poses, but they hardly upload to flickr....

The *only* reason this photo did so well was thanks to legions of geeks, gamers, and cosplayers. (You know who you are). It was also picked up by a Japanese gaming blog which greatly helped.
