Kauhavan edellinen kirkko paloi jouluna 1921. Jotakin esineistöä ehdittiin pelastamaan. Ehkäpä nämä vanhojen, käytöstä poistuneiden urkujen alta löytyneet valaisimet ovat peräisin vanhasta kirkosta?

Aikaisemmin olen käynyt täällä vain kaksi kertaa joskus nuorena, eikä minulla ollut enää mitään muistikuvaa rakennuksesta. Tällä kuvausreissulla yllätyin kuinka kaunis kirkko tuo on, niin sisältä kuin ulkoa.
