It’s the Charles Bronson of the Cameron Highlands, Tanah Rata, Malaysia
Our tour guide at the BOH Tea Plantation in the Cameron Highlands in Malaysia had a serious demeanor about him so I interrupted his spiel and asked him to give me his best Charles Bronson pose.
Puzzled he asked, “Who?”
“I don’t want an owl pose, just Charles Bronson. Give me you best tough guy look,” I instructed him.
“How?”
“I don’t want to play 20 questions, just cross your arms and look angry,” I replied.
Afterwards, as we were walking back to the van he asked who was Charles Bronson. I told him he was an actor known for his tough guy roles in many Hollywood films such as The Dirty Dozen and his most famous series of films, Death Wish. I informed him that Death Wish was about a crime-fighting vigilante in New York City.
“What is with Americans and guns,” he asked?
“Well, I shoot with Canon. Does that make me violent,” I replied?
“It makes you smart,” he answered.
I liked that answer.
