Dawn at Pinets Cove II

The rocks here are somewhat dark, however, you can also see it as drama for the scene...
Dawn at Pinets Cove II by Salva del Saz.
Digital blending of two images.
I'm not really happy with this image because I find it a little dark on the upper right and a little overdone. However, I've posted it since a have few portrait format landscape images in my stream.

Comments are welcome. Thanks for stopping by.
Have a nice weekend.

Beautiful natural colors and exposure Salva, the rocks in the foreground draw the eyes to the sea and the awesome sky! The portrait mode was surely the best choice.

WOW! Fantastic composition my friend! The portrait orientation is really working well here and draws the attention directly into the calm pool and to the fabulous sky. Although there is some detail missing in the overly darkened rocks (I suppose due to stacking some GNDs?) I really like this shot! Outstanding tones... very vibrant and beautiful! Sunsets on the coast are so much different from what I get up here...

I was planning my vacation towards the Albufeira coastline, Portugal this year towards the middle of September (earlier if I can't make it to Maui) but looking at your coastline shots I will have to consider some slight adjustments in meridians to the east. lol

I like this, the dark is maybe a little too dark, but can also be cathegorized as dramatic :)

And here the dark tones are so nice. A really nice set from you. I can understand the fear of it being overdone, but I think it somehow matches the darker contrast/tones inherent to this shot. Not bad at all really imho.
