I want to learn and grow -

I look up to all of you for something different, your eye, your technical talent, your heart.

In my self-promoting plea for assitance, I would like if anyone reading this would pick one of their favorite pictures from my stream (every - even before I upgraded cameras) and tell me how to make it better.

As much as I love compliments, I want someone to push me, to tell me how to fix stuff, to tell me what sucks and what doesn't. (You know, within reason.)

So, I thank you in advance for your participating if you choose so.

P.S. The little vase is random, just so it's not on a plain background...

set up like a desk lamp to get shadowy shots (if thats what you'd like to go for).

when using the 10sec timer.... set an object to focus so when your in the shot its focused on you. hmmm... lemme check.

you've always taken great shots. I like your work. sometimes we all hit spost where there is not inspiration (art writers block-- i've hit it recently)

I have such a huge problem with the focus on this new camera - I put something there, and focus - and then when i'm in the shot - it's off again.. and with the xti i can only take 1 shot with the timer instead of 10 with the point and shoot - so it takes forever to get one thing right.. i end up getting pissed and giving up before i actually get what i want...

Thank you for your compliments.. I know I have a huge amount to learn - sooo much I cannot do - but i know the best way to learn is in little steps, and from people who already know it. :-)

I think you rock the world with your camera - and the camera doesn't do anything to my pictures except make them clearer by megapixels.. (well, in my case more blurry- hahaha) but seriously - Jason told me a while ago that the camera doesn't do anything if the photographer is no good - and you do amazing stuff already.. Just like B, I can't wait to see what you guys can do... :-)
