American Foreign Policy

I think this made a fair comment on the present foreign policy of the leviathan USA but it seems equally appropriate for any nation state that oppresses and stultifies the thoughts and opinions of others. All fundamentalist religion is afraid and such fear will ultimately destroy itself. A pox upon the hateful and the vulgar and the reactionarily tedious. You have no courage, no humanity and are incapable of any creative acts.

First, you are quite absolute in your statement and no doubt opinion i.e. for someone who believe himself to be a non-fundementalist. Second, you clearly are not fimiliar with our history especially as it intersects with yours. Third, your assertions are factually false except for the creativity one or else I might wish something worse than the pox upon your country, but that would make me sound like you. And worse, I would have to assume that everyone in your country likewise is as arrogant as you, but that would be just down right untrue. Your countrymen I'm sure are really neat folks as are the people over here. We too, however, have our exceptions. This just my opinion, however.

Afterwards I suggested that any nation that oppresses and stultifies the thoughts and opinions of others might be comparable to dog shit. This was one of the philosphical inspirations for America to defeat the English and declare independance. I do not generalise people with a nation. I see you and I will hopefully think Greg, the veteran with the neat beard and a cute dog, not "American". But it seems you suggest that only fundamentalists with big guns and holy books can have the 'correct' opinion?

Our histories do indeed intersect. We collectively ripped off the Native Americans. We supplied the slaves and took the tobacco and cotton to Europe. You gave us the boats and planes to keep the nazi at bay until most of Europe was destroyed. Boats and planes that we just paid back the loan to you for last month. Then we let you park your subs and planes here for free till the Commie caved in (is that enough history for ya?).

Thirdly, what assertions? Al Quaida are fundamentalist and they are afraid just like that coward Hitler. They are so desperately afraid they kill and destroy whatever they percieve to be an enemy. Just like the "present" policy of the western alliances who are afraid of losing weight, oil, power, BigMacs, Four x Fours, Walmart and reality TV.

I did not wish a pox upon you, or America. If you take a moment to read my words you may see that I say, specifically, A pox upon the hateful and the vulgar and the reactionarily tedious. Now if you wish to defend the hateful then good for you. If you wish to defend the vulgar. I respect that, I guess.

Many are easily led by money and corruption. They happily allow nuclear weapons, land-grabbing, waste, massive oil consumption and the destruction of any culture but their own. I am arrogant but I do know a little history and at least I am someone who can read and spell with some care and attention. I've taken a little time to think about what I have to say.

If there is a God (assumption maker) maybe he/she resonates deep even in the kid who planted this flag. He/She may also know how to spell.
