As the protests continue we are continuously asked these questions:

What’s the point? One corrupt politician is going to replace another.

How are bunch of students going to make any difference? You guys have gone mad!

The only thing that is going to come out of this all is you getting arrested and thrashed.

Some times these constant badgering of discouraging statements starts getting to you. You start believing that maybe they are right, we should just continue doing what we have mastered over so many years i.e. being silent observer and numb to everything happening around us.

But I guess if nothing else, at least i know that I stood up along with other amazing people and said NO to what we all honestly believe to be wrong.

Forget everything else we will all remember, while most stood silent to the blatant disregard of basic human rights and absolute non existence of humanity, we rose and said STOP.

Students all over continue to protest. Around 100 gathered for this candle light vigil at LUMS. Despite having their exams, they continue to register their protest every day in what ever manner they can. This is a picture of the candles they had arranged to read:

"Free Our Judiciary and Media"

6 th day of protesting at LUMS.

Freedom of speech is my inherent right. No General gave it to me and definitely no General can take it away!

the only source of light was the candle and that too a dimming candle. in order to get the effect i wanted and some decent lighting the shutter speed was slowed to 30 secs. this pic is exactly as it was originally. no photoshopping.

and yes thats me in the mirror. =p

took this pic on one of my evening walks. got so sick of macros n flowers that hadn't uploaded this. in fact i didnt even really like this picture.

but now that i have kept myself away from flowers n macros for quite some time. i don't think this pic is all that bad.
