Looks perfectly normal to me. Every city has its own rock serpent, to liven up those long boring mountain trips.

The road by Loch Ness has never been that dry in human memory! Nessie must be on holiday somewhere hot and got a little hungry

Can't be the Loch Ness monster - we don't use diamond signs in the UK. Must be a dragon.

Oakland, California has now officially named the Lake Merritt Monster, "Merrittzilla." (Not the greatet name.) We could use a sign like this!
