Screen Technology

cwd181: Technology - It's a huge part of our lives...it's everywhere. But can you make an interesting image based on it? Snapshots of iPods laying on the kitchen table probably don't cut it.

I had mixed thoughts on this assignment. I work with technology every day - I'm an electronics engineer - so I've got plenty of stuff I could have chosen. I decided to attempt to represent the technology that's made the biggest impact on my life - the internet.

Everything we see on the net is code, just like the shot here. It's just lines of text strung together to display these wonderful sites on our screens. So, I did a view -> source of the assignment page and used my +4 close-up lens to get in close at an interesting angle.

I wasn't expecting the rainbow effect, but I quite like it. It seems that my Samsung 930BF shows colours like that when you view from the side
