A cut and fill for the Black River & Utica's abortive attempt to continue building beyond Boonville. Prior to the Civil War, they had built up to Boonville and attempted to continue northward on this right-of-way. After the war, when they could continue building, they built on a different right-of-way. So although the railroad was finished, this part wasn't.
