concept for "words" series...

think it's pretty much a go as is, any suggestions though?

The bullhorn carries some negative vibes for me (since they are usually an instrument used for propaganda and soap-boxing). Maybe I've seen NOOMA 009 too many times! I'd be happy if it were just the silhouette of the person.

I agree with muntz that some airing out might be interesting, as would a less horizontal orientation for all the words.

If you're ready to go to production though, this certainly conveys the concept that we are what we say/think.

If you have the time to spend it, which you probably don't... , you could free up the kerning in some of the words so that you can almost make out what they say. Really cool idea... really cool!

Becky - I've seen that Nooma WAY too many times too!!! I think the bullhorn actually works for this, because of the negative connotation.

anyhooo...

here's my thoughts on the bullhorn.

the series sin't about the negative impact of words, so I feel ya on that one becky, BUT it is about how these simple words (i love you, yes, thank you, no) can revolutionize our lives when used in a Christlike manner.

Kind of a they're only simple words, but yet when we use them properly the power of those same words is amplified.

So that's the dealio there.

I really liked it, don't know that I would have the patience to do it. Lots of layers and typing... how long did this take to do? I think it is a really good concept and design. I can tell enough that they are words and that is the point... good job!!
