Underprivileged

Underprivileged

I found this poor but lovely village child working as a road sweeper near the Shanker Moth, a renowned Hindu temple of Shitakundo, Chitagong, Bangladesh. Her age would be around 8-9 years old but at this little age she works in the streets which she was not supposed to do. She has some basic rights to grow herself like a financially solvent child. She might have had some dreams, some hopes, some assurances of having financial freedoms but her poor family status has compelled her to do such odd jobs and made her an underprivileged child. May be as a nation, our collective failure is producing such lovely children as “Underprivileged”

A large number of children who is working to assist their family is the most hard-to-reach and very often termed as underprivileged children. A large number of “Underprivileged” children are deceived from the formal education system. Another underprivileged are street children who constitute one of the most vulnerable and marginal groups in Bangladesh. "Street children" are essentially the boys and girls for whom the streets, unoccupied dwellings, wastelands etc., have become homes and/or sources of livelihood, and who are inadequately protected or supervised by responsible adults. The major problems of street children are: Insecure life; physical and sexual abuse by adults of the immediate community; harassment by law enforcing agencies; no, or inadequate, access to educational institutions and healthcare facilities; and lack of decent employment opportunity. For the true development of a country these underprivileged children should not be underneath of the education. A recent study conducted by Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS) and assisted by Bangladesh Government estimates that the number of underprivileged children in Bangladesh to be 445,000 of whom 75% is in the capital city of Dhaka. Another BIDS study estimates that the number of street children in Bangladesh to be around 380,000 — of whom 55% is in the capital city of Dhaka. A little less than half of them (49.2%) are of the age group < 10 years, while the remaining falls in the age group of 11-19 years. Their gender composition is as follows: boys 74.3%, while girls account for 25.7%. Considering the trend in the ever increasing numbers of these children over the past 10 years, it is estimated that by the year 2014 the number of underprivileged children would be 930,000.
So Alarming........!!

The passenger

The passenger

A passenger is a term broadly used to describe any person who travels in a vehicle, but bears little or no responsibility for the tasks required for that vehicle to arrive at its destination. Crew members (if any), as well as the driver or pilot of the vehicle, are usually not considered to be passengers. For example, a flight attendant on an airline would not be considered a "passenger" while on duty, but an employee riding in a company car being driven by another person would be considered a passenger, even if the car was being driven on company business.
Everyday millions of people travels from one place to another with their tons of responsibilities. All are in rush. They do not have time to talk with you. Many of them even don't know whether he or she will be able to return to home safely or not. An unexpected accident may have caused to their deaths. But who cares? We are all unstoppable until our last breath. The wheel of civilization is on the run like these passengers. And may be the wheels of civilization will not go ahead unless passengers go. So never stop going. Be the passenger.........

The spiderman........!

The spiderman........!

When I got this shot it reminded me the legendary animated TV series of 60s "Spider-Man". I used to see this in my childhood with a lot of excitement (and I'm sure many of you would have done the same thing what I did). Whenever I see "Spider-Man" today I become nostalgic for those childhood days...!

Here goes the legendary song of this animated TV series and some info. Hope you'll like:

"Spiderman, Spiderman,
Does whatever a spider can
Spins a web, any size,
Catches thieves just like flies
Look Out! Here comes the Spiderman.

Is he strong? Listen bud,
He's got radioactive blood.
Can he swing from a thread
Take a look overhead
Hey, there, There goes the Spiderman.

In the chill of night
At the scene of a crime
Like a streak of light
He arrives just in time.

Spiderman, Spiderman
Friendly neighborhood Spiderman
Wealth and fame, He's ignored
Action is his reward.

To him, life is a great big bang up
Whenever there's a hang up
You'll find the Spider man."

Spider-Man is an animated TV series that ran from September 9, 1967 to June 14, 1970. It was jointly produced in Canada (for voice talent) and the United States (for animation) and was the first animated adaptation of the Spider-Man comic book series. It first aired on the ABC television network in the United States but went into syndication at the start of the third season. Spider-Man is the Marvel comics' super-hero created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko. Grantray-Lawrence Animation produced the first season. Seasons 2 and 3 were crafted by producer Ralph Bakshi in New York City.

Hi dude........!

Hi dude........!

This photo is dedicated to all the talented and versatile photographers with whom I worked, talked, meet, received comments, received inspirations personally or from flickr, for each n everyone. In my view, all are the blessings for me from whenever I started photography.
Regarding the model I want to say a few words about him, about a gentle man/a good person/a good friend/a good brother or a good human beings (whatever adjective I put is less) whom I know for not more than two months but his talents delighted me a lot. I had an opportunity to stay with him under the same roof only for two days during a safari tour at Srimangal, Bangladesh in November 2009 organized by the renowned photography group of our country TTL-Through The Lens: Bangladesh and luckily both of us were proud to be the member of this group. In my view he has a great sense of composition, color and lighting knowledge of photography and much more (though I cannot dare to explain his versatility). I think he is one of the talented upcoming photographer of this day....can't believe?? Just visit his stream.....Tahsin/what matters most!!? I have no words for you brother........!

At the same time I wish I could explain the talents of each individuals to whom I worked or talked or meet or got comments, got inspirations personally or from flickr.....I must say all of you are the blessings for me. You people are my strength, my well wishers....... Among them I must utter few names like Aftab bhai, Shabbir Ferdous bhai, Amit da (neetaphoto), Sharif bhai (Ideas_R_Bulletproof), Avik Da (Avikbangalee), Shudipto bhai-TTLM, Shajan bhai (sajan164) and many more (I mean all) whom I equally honor....all of you people (name mentioned & not mentioned) are my strength.........Hats off to you guys....!

Waiting for departure

Waiting for departure

Waiting...waiting...waiting..Oh no! don't like this waiting....! Wish there is no waiting. Everything would be in time. There would be no waiting for the train...There would be no waiting for departure...There would be no waiting for the destination...There would be no waiting for food...There would be no waiting to be rich...There would be no waiting for love...There would be no waiting for beloved...rather waiting would wait for us...! But I know, that wouldn't be possible but wish that would be possible....!

Much of our time of life goes away in vain for waiting. One day we will be gone away from this heavenly world but still our waiting will not be ended....! There is a hope, waiting on the other side of the waiting....wish this waiting would be ended with no waiting....!
