Day 7 of 7 Timing....timing is everything...
and luckily one out of of the 26 shots I took of this worked out pretty good :)
Happy Christmas to you all. Today saw my family and I go to my best friends house for Christmas dinner my second in two days, the final one being tomorrow with Mum and Dad. My intention was to have a group shot of us all tucking into plates piled high with turkey, ham and all the trimmings. However as I mopped up the last of the gravy with my final roast potato I realised the D80 was still nestled in its bag. So onto plan B which was a group shot of us all having pudding. As some of you may know Tasha (my girlfriend) is less than willing to feature in any photo I take and this is after nearlly two years of going out with me! So as the Christmas pudding came out and the match set alight for all to see I managed to snap a shot I am quite proud of, especially as I am actually featured in it (look carefully I am there)!
So everyone is happy Tasha is hidden in the shadows I got a good shot of a Christmas pud alight and I can use it as todays 7days. A win win win.
Now if you will excuse me I am off to mooch infront of the TV and plan how I am going to catch up on all my comment love over the next few days.
It's been a very enjoyable week as always and I will look forward to seeing you all in the Spring.

Day 6 of 7 Mirror mirror on the wall....
why did'nt you tell me I was running late an hour ago! Maybe this way I would not be in the dangerous position of trying to rush shaving.
Ok well maybe not rush that much as I obviously have time to bugger about taking this shot, however I am now running late.
Tonight it is the first of my three Christmas dinners I have planned over the next 3 days. No not greedy, smart! Tonight I will be dining with Natasha's (girlfriend) family, all 14 of them! and then tomorrow I will be with my family and my best friends family and on Boxing Day I will be with my family again for the final turkey!
It has been a busy week and once again I am more than a little behind on my comment love. I am very appreciative for all the lovely comments you all have left and I promise that over the next few days I will catch up. Now I must dash I have a date with a turkey and some ham :)

Day 5 of 7 Part of the cool gang!
Well here is my contribution to the silver theme today. After looking at everyones reflection shots in their Christmas decs I couldn't resist the erge to join the gang.
I was quite surprised how clear this shot is and the amount you can see in my living room.
An update on our snowy Christmas. It is now raining so typically the chance of actually having a white Christmas in the UK has nowofficially been dashed

Day 4 of 7 After a mad dash home I get what I want....
well sort of anyway.
As I drove to work this morning after a night where we were gifted with another inch or so of snow I could see the shot I wanted for today but knew it would be touch and go whether I would be able to get it or not due to the fading light. As I drove home at 3 it seemed like the quicker I drove the quicker the sun slipped away. Anyway I got home rushed for the camera and then ran like a fool to where I hoped there would be enough light left for my shot.
So here it is, it's not quite what I wanted but after a few shots the light was really not on my side and I was also starting to loose the feeling in my fingers due to the cold.
