Cool Pig - Yo!

A Butcher shop in Okinawa.
Pork is quite popular there.
Amongst a myriad of odd and apparently edible pig parts, I found the pig face particularly interesting....the face is skinned off the head and sold vacuum packed in clear plastic. It looks like some weird "Lord of the Flies" mask to me. But hey, waste not want not I guess! Anyways, this pig says hi!

If this was a dog or cat, we all would be very disturbed. That pig probably had a horrible life and suffered an even worse death. We've been taught to love the dog and cat and eat the others, but just like your pets have feelings, so do farm animals.
