A Butcher shop in Okinawa.
Pork is quite popular there.
Amongst a myriad of odd and apparently edible pig parts, I found the
pig face particularly interesting....the face is skinned off the head
and sold vacuum packed in clear plastic. It looks like some weird
"Lord of the Flies" mask to me. But hey, waste not want not
I guess! Anyways, this pig says hi!

I encourage all comments. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. Photography is a means of expression as well as a way of documenting whats out there. Im glad that this photo is generating some interesting discussion, but lets try to keep the language down. There is no need to resort to name calling to have your thoughts heard or valued.

If this was a dog or cat, we all would be very disturbed. That pig probably had a horrible life and suffered an even worse death. We've been taught to love the dog and cat and eat the others, but just like your pets have feelings, so do farm animals.
