Hi cory_Lum,

I will make a test sample shoot on my blog when I will make them with cardbox just keep looking on the blog.

Thanks to all for the posts.

Basically what I carry is one stand, one umbrella and my 580EX for small assignments this all gear is when you need to impress the client or you nedd to be more creative about the shots.

Any way you should choose what best fits you and if could know in advance what you will be shooting that is even better.

Stay tuned for more info at the blog.

Thanks

Rui

Hi SpeedAbuser and johnnycanuck,

been reading the reviews on the camera and they are awsome.

But I need to test it for focus since I read not so good things about it, up until now.

Who knows, maybe santa will carry out something special this year.

britton photography The AA battery cases I bought them at Fnac.
They cost me 1,00 euro each and they are very practical.

I have seen this boxes also in Auchan and some shopping malls. Look for the battery department.

Hope this helps.

Rui M Leal  Pro User  says:

oriontrail Unfortunately NO!!!

But I gather some money doing some photojournalism stuff and started from ground zero build the gear.
This took me at least 5 years to get all the stuff, not easy when you get so less paid by magazines and newspapers in Portugal.

I think the best you have to do is to get a good lenses first forget the bodies since they are always updating go for lenses instead.

So instead of buying a MarkIII do yourself a favor and buy a 70-200 L 2.8 and a 16-35 L 2.8 for almost the same price and now even with a 30D your pictures will pop out on sharpness.

And by the way great collection you got on DevianArt great stuff.
Thanks for the comment and continue the great work.

I know to some it looks a lot, and very expensive. But it's not, this is standard for one - two kits.

If I took out my ideal bag and laid it out like this, then it would look exactly the same if not larger.

I know and have seen some photographers who take this kind of kit way out in the wilderness, along with a couple more bags at least for their laptop :) and living supplies

Great setup. Maybe it's just the gear whore in me (or just being a guy, predisposed to liking electronics) but I always love seeing what other folks use to make their images. I wonder if painter's get this excited seeing each other's paint brushes?
