Black Forest Fog

    June 2000 -- Black Forest Germany -- Early morning light filters through the mist and tree cover. We were hiking one of the many trails through these hills and forests when I looked up slope though the woods and the mist in the air lit up with the soft light of the morning. -- PHOTO BY JEFF RUEPPEL
