@Carlos--I completely agree. I'd seen this sign before without a camera, then last year I stumbled across it the very same weekend I bought a new camera and I just couldn't resist.

btw, they recently took down this sign and replaced it with another. it still says Church and Gay, but they took down the "connector" part.

I have probably seen that sign a hundred times and never took any particular note of it. Now correct me if I am wrong, as I am now a proud desert rat, but isn't the 'new' gay district on church street just west of I-65? I say new as the last time I was in Nashville was 2003 and it didn't exist but Winter of 2006 the area was alive and well.
