Just read the sign ;) He didn't go anywhere either.
Most northern California transit systems have these buses and sadly they have not withstood the test of time. They've not filled the shoes of the model they replaced; the Orion V. The V's were one of the most successful buses of all time, yet Orion banked their future on the VII and VIINGs. Many systems are either rebuilding or rehabbing these buses. The oldest are nearly 8 years old, while the youngest are 2. The oldest Orion Vs Unitrans has in their lot date from 1994-1996.
In stark contrast New Flyer introduced low-floor technology from Germany in 1988 and have remained kings at what they do. As evidenced by a New Flyer flanking this bus on three sides, left, right and rear. In titles, placards or worthiness this model has gone nowhere. Orion, look and learn.
